Sinopse

A história de Shadow of the Colossus começa com Wander entrando na Região Proibida, atravessando a extensa ponte na entrada com o seu cavalo, Agro. De acordo com o Lorde Emon mais tarde no jogo, antes de sua entrada na terra proibida, Wander roubou uma espada mágica, provavelmente do próprio Emon, que é a única arma capaz de matar os colossus na Região Proibida.
